why khamsa?

khamsa (خمسة) means “five” in Arabic. The name also nods to Khamees (الخميس), the Arabic word for Thursday, and the fifth day of the week in many calendars used by Arabic-speaking communities.

So when khamsa hits your inbox on Thursdays, it’s more than a coincidence. It’s a small connection to something deeper.
